The California Golden Bears are trying to stay in front of the Pac-12 basketball standings. After Cal's victory over USC on Thursday night and Oregon romped Washington, Cal regained a share of first place in the conference. And the Bears followed up their strong performance Thursday night with a big win over the UCLA Bruins on Saturday afternoon.
Justin Cobbs led the way on the scoring end with 18 points, Allen Crabbe added 14 points, Jorge Gutierrez put up 13 points, Harper Kamp added 10 points, and big men David Kravish put in 9 points while Robert Thurman added 7 points. Cal shot 52% while holding UCLA to 40% shooting
Lazeric Jones and Jerime Anderson added 16 points each for UCLA while Josh Smith and David Wear had 10 as well. Cal moves to 20-6 in the conference and continues to control their conference destiny.
