Stanford Football Recruiting Commitment: Ikenna Nwafor, DT From Irving, Texas

The Stanford Cardinal continue to stockpile their class with great-looking talent from outside the state. On Saturday they traversed the Lone Star State and picked up their eleventh recruit. Ikenna Nwafor looks like he's on his way to Palo Alto, and he will do his best to clog up the middle for the majority of Pac-12 rush attacks. Nwafor remains ranked on the periphery or along the edge of the major recruiting services, and also enjoyed offers from schools like Arizona, Kansas, Illinois, Ole Miss and Missouri, plus a host of Ivy League schools.

The best thing about Nwafaro is his measurables, which already project him to being a great physical talent once he masters the techniques of line play at the collegiate level. At 6'5", 298 pounds, he figures to be a load and a potential nose tackle/defensive end in the current Stanford 3-4 defensive alignment.

Nwafor's not done visiting schools though, particularly if he gains more offers. Hence, this is far from a solid verbal. For now though, he's with Stanford.
