Elite 11: Bart Houston Second Best Performer Behind Chad Voytik

It's been two days at the Elite 11 camp in Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and it should be a good day for De La Salle fans everywhere. Quarterback and Wisconsin Badgers commit Bart Houston was highlighted early on at the camp, and Houston performed exceptionally well. So well, in fact, that coaches grade Houston as one of the top performers through Monday and Tuesday. Mike Gramala of ESPN Rise has the story, and Bryan Fischer of CBS Sports reports.

If there's anyone who could be labeled Mr. Consistent, it would be Bart Houston. He doesn't wow you out of the gate but he's got the perfect mix of arm strength, frame, throwing motion and accuracy to know he'll be a perfect fit at Wisconsin.

Interestingly, Chad Voytik of Cleveland (Cleveland, TN) is considered the top performer so far, and he is currently uncommitted. Voytik apparently has a top three of Pitt, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State, so there could be one impressive quarterback out there for a decent school to grab in the upcoming months. But Houston's performance has to be encouraging for Wisconsin fans, who seems to grasp all the fundamentals of being a signal-caller.
