The Stanford Cardinal, coming off the best football season in school history, are adding a solid recruiting class as they look to build on last year’s momentum. Although they have a new head coach in David Shaw, the letters of intent on are still pouring in on 2011 National Signing Day.
Stanford’s compliance department has been reviewing all the letters before making announcements, but they’ve started to release the official announcements. The following players have had their LOIs verified and are officially Stanford Cardinal football players:
WR Ty Montgomery – Dallas, Texas
S Wayne Lyons – Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
QB Kevin Hogan – Washington, DC
WR Devon Cajuste – Seaford, New York
DT Lance Callihan – Baton Rouge, Louisiana
DT Anthony Hayes – Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
OG/C Kevin Reihner – Scranton, Pennsylvania
We’ll have more on these various recruits, but in the meantime, Rule of Tree had some video of QB Kevin Hogan this past October. RoT writer Scott Allen shot some flip phone video of Hogan when he faced off against O’Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia.
