Several players have already committed to Cal this morning as the East Coast is up and running already. It’s 7:45am out here on the West Coast so things are a bit slower getting going. The Bears have already received official letters of intent from several players around the country. The first name listed was WR Maurice Harris who is the 91st ranked player according to ESPNU. The North Carolina native was a league-wide beast both on offense (leading the league in receptions) and defense (leading the league in interceptions).
That letter was followed by LOIs from LB Nathan Broussard, TB Daniel Lasco, TE Richard Rogers, and DB Joel Willis. Cornerback Kameron Jackson announced via twitter that he had officially selected Cal and CalBears.com just added him to their live blog. Names are starting to come fast and furious.
