2011 Holiday Bowl Odds: Texas Installed As Three To Four Point Favorites Over Cal

The California Golden Bears, winners of three of their final four contests, have to feel good going into the 2011 Holiday Bowl in San Diego. They'll be going up against the Texas Longhorns, who probably feel the opposite after stumbling in three of their final four games. It figures to be a highly competitive contest.

Texas is favored by three to four points over Cal depending on what sportsbooks you're looking at, but that's probably to generate equal action on both sides. There are probably innumerable more Texas fans than there are Cal fans, so it would make sense that the books would favor the Horns. If both teams were playing well going into this game, the line would probably be at least a touchdown, maybe more.

Basically, this game is anyone's to win. Cal will be happy to hear that.
