After a huge first half, the California Golden Bears have slowed down just a bit in their game against the Washinton State Cougars. They are currently holding a 30-7 lead in the fourth quarter.
The only scoring in the third quarter for the Golden Bears came on a 43-yard touchdown run by Will Kapp. Cal also allowed the Cougars to get on the board for the first time early in the fourth quarter. After forcing a turnover on downs at the end of the third quarter, Isi Sofele immediately fumbled on the first play by the Golden Bears, which allowed Washington State to start the fourth quarter well inside the Cal red zone.
Cal is still doing a remarkable job in this game, jumping out to a huge early lead and largely shutting down the WSU offense. Things look good for the Golden Bears in this one, but there is still a lot of football left to play.
