Arik Armstead Visiting Alabama, Oregon, Auburn, USC

Now that Arik Armstead has officially reopened his recruitment after being a USC Trojans commit, he's starting to reexamine his options. One of the top recruits in the country is starting to look around and take his visits.

Armstead enjoyed his visit to Alabama this weekend for the Game of the Century, and his father Gus had this to say about his son's visit.

"Arik really enjoyed himself," said Gus Armstead, Arik’s father. "It’s really hard to describe what the atmosphere was like there. The Alabama fans are a really passionate group and the electricity in the air was pretty incredible. You had the top two teams in the country battling it out and Arik really enjoyed himself.

The rest of this article is paid, but this tweet from Greg Biggins (who wrote the article) indicates that two more visits are lined up--the Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers are both getting trips. It does look like the lineman will be looking at all his best options nationwide.

Armstead might no longer be all USC, but he hasn't forgotten about the Trojans, as he will take an unofficial back to Los Angeles this Saturday. Don't count out USC reentering this race, as there are multiple teams in the race.
