The Cal Golden Bears face one of the toughest games on their schedule this weekend as they face the No. 9 Oregon Ducks on the road. The Ducks are on an offensive hot streak right now, scoring no less than 56 points in each of their last three games after falling 40-27 to LSU in the season opener.
The Golden Bears, meanwhile, have struggled on the road this season at Colorado (a 36-33 overtime win) and Washington (a 31-23 loss). They will get the opportunity to make a big statement in Eugene on Thursday.
Following is an assortment of information regarding the game, including television and radio coverage:
Kickoff: 9:02 EDT/ 6:02 PST
Venue: Autzen Stadium (54,000 capacity)
Last Meeting: Oregon 15 - Cal 13; 2010
Television Coverage: ESPN will cover the game in one of Cal's three scheduled national appearances (the other two will be at USC and against Arizona State later this season).
Radio: KGO 810 (local); Sports USA Radio Network and Sirius XM Satellite Radio will also cover the game.
Online stream: ESPN3 will stream the game. Click here for a list of cable/satellite companies that provide ESPN3 access.
Cal will look to replicate last season's game against the Ducks, which resulted in a two-point loss. This will be no easy task, but a quick start could jumpstart the Golden Bears and give them a fighting chance on the national stage.
