Andrus Peat To Visit Stanford Cardinal First, Nebraska Cornhuskers Second

Although he hasn't come out and said it, it's starting to look like Andrus Peat has two clearcut leaders. The Corona del Sol offensive tackle has set up two official visits to the two schools that have been mentioned the last few weeks as his big destinations. Justin Hopkins of 247 Sports has more.

The nation's No. 5 player Andrus Peat has scheduled only his second official visit. Recently 247Sports reported Peat will visit Nebraska on Nov. 26 after being forced to miss his first attempt at a visit.

This week Peat reports he has plans to visit Stanford on November 19 when the Cardinal host the Ducks for a big-time Pac-12 showdown.

Peat does mention other schools like Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Notre Dame and Texas, but it's pretty telling that the offensive tackle would start off with an official to the Stanford football program. Peat must be really serious about his interest in the program. Stanford has had a pretty strong tradition of offensive line play lately, so it'd make sense that Peat would be down for playing in Palo Alto as opposed to traditional college football powers.

That being said, Nebraska is his next visit, so you'd have to think that the Huskers are very much in the mix.

*Disclaimer: The article says Peat would be visiting November 19th for the Oregon game, but Stanford is playing Cal on November 19th. We have to presume that either Peat is visiting November 12th for Oregon or November 19th for Cal.
