Corvallis, OR (Sports Network) – Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 119 yards and three scores on 22 carries as the Oregon State Beavers defeated the California Golden Bears 35-7 in a Pac-10 showdown at Reser Stadium.

Quarterback Ryan Katz threw for 184 yards and one touchdown on 20-of-27 passing in the win for Oregon State (4-3, 3-1 Pac-10).

California (4-4, 2-3) was led by quarterback Brock Mansion who completed 14 of his 24 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown in the loss. Mansion took over for starter Kevin Riley, who injured his left knee early in the first quarter and did not return.

Rodgers rushed for his second score on a one-yard scamper early in the second quarter as Oregon State now led 21-0. The Beavers took a commanding 28-0 advantage into the half after Katz connected with Joe Halahuni on a 17-yard touchdown strike.

Coming out of the intermission, Rodgers ran for his third touchdown of the game, this time from 10 yards out giving the Beavers the 35-0 lead.
