Arizona State Vs. Cal 2012: TV schedule, game time, spread and more

The Arizona St. Sun Devils and Cal Bears meet for a key Pac-12 matchup this weekend in Berkeley.

Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The California Golden Bears will look to pick up their first Pac-12 conference win of the season on Saturday afternoon as the Arizona St. Sun Devils come to town. The Bears, 1-3 this season, are coming off a tough loss to USC, while ASU is 3-1 and fresh off a blowout win over Utah.

California is led by quarterback Zach Maynard. The senior has not played very well this season, throwing for 927 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions thus far. Running back Isi Sofele will have his hands full against an impressive front-seven for the Sun Devils

Arizona State has surpassed early expectations under new coach Todd Graham, although they stumbled a bit in their lone road game of the season against Missouri. This is a talented team, but they have the tendency to beat themselves at times. It will be interesting to see how quarterback Taylor Kelly performs in his first conference road game.

Start Time, TV Coverage: 4 p.m. ET, FX

Odds: California opened as two-point favorites, but the line has since dropped to zero. The game is essentially a pick 'em.
