Cal vs. Washington betting lines & odds

Despite the Cal Golden Bears' disappointing 2012 season, they remain four-point favorites to defeat the Washington Huskies at home on Friday night.

The Cal Golden Bears have struggled to a 3-6 record, but their disappointing campaign thus far in 2012 wasn't enough to convince the sports books over at OddsShark to give the Washington Huskies the edge as the Golden Bears are favored by four points according to Bovada.

Cal is 1-4 at home against the spread, but the oddsmakers likely used the Huskies' 0-3 road mark to influence their decision-making. Cal has the edge over Washington in almost every major statistical category when it comes to looking at the particulars of the matchup, and the ground game is especially favorable for the Golden Bears.

The Huskies have allowed an astounding 185.1 rushing yards per game, and Cal has run the ball well, chalking up an average of 169 yards per contest. The defensive inefficiencies for both squads have caused the over-under for the game to be set at 52.5 as the offenses should see many scoring opportunities.
