The California Golden Bears and Washington St. Cougars square off Saturday night, both looking to climb closer to .500. Both team enter this weekend's game at 2-4, but experts across the board seem to think the Bears are the favorites despite being the road team. Kevin Gemmell and Ted Miller of ESPN.com's Pac 12 blog both have the Bears winning by double digits.

Kevin Gemmell: At this point, the Washington State defense is outperforming the offense -- and we saw what Cal is capable of when it actually puts it together. Something finally clicked, and I don't think the Bears shut it off this week. Cal 27, Washington State 21.

Ted Miller: It's a simple question, really: Can Cal reproduce the focused performance it had against UCLA? If so, the Bears win big. If not, they flop. We like the New Fighting Tedfords to continue their reclamation of the season. Cal 35, Washington State 24.

Elsewhere, the San Jose Mercury News predicts the Bears to cruise to victory saying the game could be over by halftime if the Bears don't turn the ball over by halftime.
