Super Bowl XLVII schedule: 49ers-Ravens frenzy starts with Tuesday's Media Day

From the spectacle that is Super Bowl Media Day to a joint Harbaugh family press conference, Super Bowl XLVII's week of events has something for everyone.

With the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers both scheduled to have arrived in New Orleans by Monday night, Super Bowl events will kick into high gear as the big game gets closer.

And with the start of Mardi Gras festivities coinciding with the start of festivities for the Super Bowl, the week is sure to be chalk-full of things to look out for. The real circus always seems to start with Super Bowl media day, which this year falls on Tuesday. And for just the second time in game history, Super Bowl organizers are offering tickets to spectators. It'll all get underway at 10 a.m. ET on Jan. 29.

Elsewhere, the Harbaugh brothers will hold a joint press conference on Friday Feb. 1 to address the likely endless questions about the familial implications of the brother versus brother storyline we're sure to be hearing about this week.

11 a.m. -- Pro Football Hall of Fame Merlin Olsen Luncheon
7 - 10 p.m. -- 14th annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration
7 - 11p.m. -- VH1's Best Super Bowl Concert Ever

Sat., Feb. 2:
8 a.m. - 1 p.m. -- Super Saturday of Service

Sun., Feb 3:
5:25 p.m. -- Super Bowl XLVII (kickoff approx. 6:30 p.m.)
