49ers injury report: Ted Ginn, Patrick Willis practice Thursday

Patrick Willis, Brandon Jacobs and Ted Ginn Jr. practiced on Thursday as San Francisco prepares to face the New York Jets.

Coming off their first loss of the season, the San Francisco 49ers are trying to rebound this week against the New York Jets and the good news for San Francisco is they are mostly healthy.

Patrick Willis was a full participant in practice Thursday for the second straight day. Willis left the 49ers last game against the Vikings in the fourth quarter with what was later diagnosed as an ankle sprain. Barring a late week setback, it appears Willis will play against the Jets.

The news wasn't quite as good for starting nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga who did not practice for the second straight day. Sopoaga, who suffered a knee and ankle injury against the Vikings, is yet to practice this week. If Sopoaga is unable to play, Ricky Jean-Francois is likely to fill in.

Running back Brandon Jacobs and wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. were both listed as limited participants on Thursday. Jacobs is coming back from a knee injury while Ginn is dealing with an ankle injury.
