The San Francisco 49ers look to wrap up the NFC West and move one step closer to locking up their second straight division crown in as many years. They will be able to celebrate that NFC West title if they can beat the Seattle Seahawks in primetime on Sunday.
The 49ers continue to push along in the Colin Kaepernick era, so far going 4-1-1 since Kaepernick started playing regularly. San Francisco won a thriller in New England last week 41-34 and hold a game-and-a-half lead over Seattle.
Seattle is probably the hottest team in the NFL: the Seahawks racked up 108 points in the last two weeks against Arizona and Buffalo. They try to keep their faint hopes alive to win the division, but also need to ensure they make the playoffs period, which they would do if they won on Saturday.
San Francisco has already played Seattle once this year, winning by a final of 13-6 at Candlestick. The 49ers and Seahawks kick off in CenturyLink Field on Sunday Night Football on NBC. Coverage of the game is set to get underway at 8:20 p.m. ET.
