It took everything the San Francisco 49ers could muster to hold off the New England Patriots and escape with a 41-34 win on Sunday, including four key defensive players staying on the field for all 94 snaps, according to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com.

Linebackers Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman, and safeties Dashon Goldson and Donte Whitner were on the field for all 94 of the 49ers defensive snaps. Willis, Bowman and Goldson also saw significant time on special teams in the win.

Cornerback Carlos Rogers sat out just one snap on the night, logging 93 snaps in total, while cornerback Tarell Brown was on the field for 91 of 94 snaps. Linebacker Aldon Smith, tied for the NFL lead with 19.5 sacks on the season, was on the field for 88 of 94 defensive snaps.

The 49ers head to Seattle in Week 16 for a crucial Sunday night NFC West showdown with the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. A win over Seattle would clinch the NFC West title for San Francisco. Kickoff is slated for 5:20 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on NBC.
