Mario Manningham was the only 49ers player that failed to take part in the San Francisco 49ers' practice session on Wednesday, as the team prepares for a big game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The former New York Giants playmaker and Super Bowl champion is dealing with a right shoulder injury that caused him to miss last Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. If he cannot go, then Randy Moss would likely see more action in his absence.
Outside linebacker Aldon Smith, fullback Bruce Miller and specialist Tavares Gooden were each present at practice, but wore black jerseys throughout the day that indicated they were not clear for contact. Each of those players, however, are fully expected to suit up on the road in Foxborough.
San Francisco will need to be as healthy as possible come Sunday, as they face New England's top-ranked scoring offense in a marquee game on national television.
