NFL Power Rankings: 49ers and Raiders continue in opposite directions

The 49ers sit near the top of most power rankings while the Raiders get closer and closer to the very bottom.

The San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders seasons continue to head in different directions as another Raiders loss sent them further to the bottom of most NFL power rankings.

The Niners stayed within the top three of ESPN, CBS Sports and the AP Pro32, sitting behind the 10-1 Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons. For the Raiders, following their 34-10 loss at the Cincinatti Bengals, it is a much different story.

ESPN dropped the Raiders one spot down to No. 29, citing the fact that the Raiders have been grossly outscored during their current four-game losing streak

CBS Sports also put the Raiders at second to last, dropping them two spots in the process to No. 31.

It gets worse by the week. Just stink, baby. What a mess Al Davis left behind.

The AP Pro32 dropped the Raiders down one spot, all the way to No. 31. Luckily for the Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs have a sure hold on the bottom spot in the AP's rankings.

The 49ers were ranked second in the AP Pro32, garnering three first-place votes in the process and sit only five votes behind the first-place Houston Texans.
