One of this year's biggest games is set for Monday night between the Bears and 49ers. Both teams are currently among the favorites to be the NFC's Super Bowl representative, although they are dealing with injuries to their quarterbacks.
Alex Smith suffered a concussion in Week 10 against the Rams. Smith has progressed well in practice and is questionable to play this week. As for Jay Cuter, the Bears officially ruled him out for the game in their weekly injury report.
San Francisco remains pretty healthy other than Smith. Frank Gore (ribs, wrist) was a full participant in practice on Friday. Linebacker Patrick Willis has been dealing with a shoulder issue for most of the season, but he practiced yet again this afternoon and seems probable for Monday. The full 49ers injury report can be found here.
The Bears also said that defensive end Shea McClellin would not play due to the concussion he sustained against Houston. Brian Urlacher did not practice on Friday, although the team announced it was not injury related.
