Here's Thursday injury report for Monday night's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Bears.
Several 49ers got banged up this past weekend against the St. Louis Rams, with the most notable name being quarterback Alex Smith. Smith suffered a concussion when linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar went right into his neck with just over a minute left in the first quarter.
Smith was limited in practice on Thursday and Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee says he was wearing a no-contact black jersey.
Interestingly, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler didn't practice on Thursday. He also has a concussion.
The only other 49er limited by injuries in practice was cornerback Chris Culliver due to a shoulder issue.
49ers who fully practiced included running back Anthony Dixon (hamstring), safety Dashon Goldson (ribs), linebacker Tavers Gooden (elbow and quadricep), center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle), running back Frank Gore (ribs, wrist), wide receiver Mario Manningham (shoulder), defensive tackle Will Tukuafu (wrist) and linebacker Patrick Willis (shoulder).
