NFC West standings, Week 6: 49ers, Cardinals tied atop division

An updated look at the NFC West standings after Week 5 of the 2012 NFL Season.

The 2012 NFL season is now five weeks old and it's the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals that sit atop the NFC West. The 49ers are 4-1 this year and are coming off a 45-3 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. The Cardinals are also 4-1, but they lost to the Rams on Thursday Night Football.

The Seahawks and Rams are tied with 3-2 records. Neither team has been all that impressive this season, but they've found ways to win and their young players are starting to really develop.

As for the games against their division foes, San Francisco is yet to play any games, while Arizona is 1-1 in their two matchups. The Rams are surprisingly 2-0, and the Seahawks are winless at 0-2.
