The Arizona Cardinals fell, 17-3, to the St. Louis Rams on Thursday night, snapping their four-game win streak and halting the most surprising storyline so far in the NFL season.
The loss makes the NFC West more congested than it already was, with Arizona falling to 4-1 and St. Louis moving to 3-2. San Francisco, which plays Buffalo this weekend, has the chance to tie the Cardinals at the top of the division with a win. Seattle, which plays Carolina, could also tie St. Louis with a win and give the division with four teams with winning records.
