The San Francisco 49ers have released their inactive list for their Thursday Night Football matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

Wide receivers Mario Manningham and A.J. Jenkins are out. Rookie running back LaMichael James continues to be bothered by injuries and will not play. Starting guard Joe Looney is out. Nose tackle Ian Williams is out, as is saftey Trenton Robinson. Backup quarterback Scott Tolzien will not play, either.

As for the players who will play, left tackle Joe Staley is available despite suffering a concussion just four days ago. Veteran tailback Brandon Jacobs is active for the first time this season after battling a knee issue. Look for Jacobs to possibly be used in short-yardage situations, as well as around the goal line.

49ers quarterback Alex Smith is battling a middle finger injury on his non-throwing hand, but he will start on Thursday night. He was listed as probable on the injury report all week.

The Seahawks have also released their injury report. Wide receiver Charly Martin, safety Winston Guy, cornerbacks Danny Gorrer and Byron Maxwell, guards J.R. Sweezy and John Moffitt, and rookie defensive tackle Jaye Howard are all out.
