The San Francisco 49ers are still reeling following a 26-3 loss at home at the hands of the New York Giants, and now they may be in for a more difficult road ahead. A report from CSN Bay Area stated that Pro Bowl offensive lineman Joe Staley could miss Thursday's game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a concussion.
The 49ers escaped the contest without any additional significant injuries. Elsewhere in the division, the Arizona Cardinals have concerns with quarterback Kevin Kolb, who suffered a rib injury during the Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Safety Kerry Rhodes will undergo an MRI after leaving the same game with a back injury.
With respect to the Seahawks, guard John Moffitt has been ruled out with a knee injury for Thursday, but everyone else on the roster has a good chance to play against San Francisco during Thursday's national game according to head coach Pete Carroll.
The St. Louis Rams are relatively healthy and escaped their 17-14 loss against the Miami Dolphins free from any major injuries.
