San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Staley is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks after leaving Sunday's game in the third quarter with a concussion, according to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.
Staley was attempting to bring down the Giants' Antrel Rolle following his interception when he was blindsided by safety Stevie Brown with a devastating block. The concussion is the second Staley has suffered in the past 10 months with his last coming against the Arizona Cardinals last December.
As Maiocco points out, Staley was actually able to play the following week after his first concussion but the 49ers had the luxury of an extended week by playing on Monday night.
Staley will have to pass all the required concussion tests over the next three days before being allowed back on the field. If he's unable to go, it's likely that Jim Harbaugh will shift right guard Alex Boone to left tackle and have Leonard Davis take Boone's place like he did this past Sunday.
