Super Bowl XLVII odds: 49ers favored against Ravens

The 49ers are currently favored by more than a field goal as they attempt to improve their Super Bowl record to a perfect 6-0.

The San Francisco 49ers are currently favored by 3 1/2 points over the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII. According to OddsShark, the Niners actually opened as 5-point favorites at the conclusion of the conference championship games, but that line has come down in most places to 3 1/2 or 4 points.

While there is still more than a week until kickoff, that line should not move too much in the intervening days. The 49ers would have been underdogs against the Patriots, but they are expected to remain favorites by more than a field goal over the Ravens.

The over/under for the game was initially set at 49, but that has also come down during the first week of wagering. OddsShark lists the o/u at 47.5 in most places, with most bettors traditionally taking the over. In their five combined playoff games, the fewest points scored by either team so far has been 24, which was more enough for the Ravens to get by the Colts in the first round.

Against the spread this season, the 49ers are 9-7. For San Francisco fans, however, any win, whether it's by less than four points or not, will suffice.
