The San Francisco 49ers are the NFC champions and will go to their first Super Bowl since 1994, ending a near 20-year drought. They will face the Baltimore Ravens, who are no stranger to big postseason games.
This game is scheduled to kick off in two weeks down in the bayou. The 49ers and Ravens will travel to New Orleans and battle for the Lombardi Trophy within the confines of the Superdome. This match will be nationally broadcast and is set for a 3:30 p.m. PT start.
Both teams have something to prove for their own reasons. The great thing for NFL fans is that both conferences are so well represented. This will make for a phenomenal match-up in Super Bowl XLVII, with all the elements: great offense, great defense, innovativeness, history, drama and hard-hitting action.
Buckle up, ladies and gentleman, and prepare yourselves for "The Harbowl."
