BMW Championship Leaderboard: Tiger Woods One Stroke Off Lead

Stanford alumni Tiger Woods had himself a solid first round of action at the 2012 BMW Championship. Woods is only a stroke off the lead. He birdied the first two holes, bogeyed the fourth, birdied the fifth and ninth holes to start the first nine holes with a score of 33. He then birdied five of seven holes (including a bogey on 14) on the back nine to finish with a 65 overall on the day. Woods stands at seven-under.

Nick Watney (who was born in Sacramento) finished with a round of 70, piling up five birdies and three bogeys. Charlie Wi managed a similar round, also putting up five birdies and three bogeys. There is a four-way tie in first place, with Webb Simpson, Bo Van Pelt, Rory McIlroy and Graham DeLaet all locked up in a four-way tie at eight-under par.
