Giants Vs. D'Backs, Series Preview: G-Men Return To AT&T To Host D-Backs

As the last month of the season dwindles away, the San Francisco Giants have nothing but NL West rivals left on the docket, starting with the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three game set at AT&T Park.

Barry Zito (10-8, 4.42) will square off against Patrick Corbin (5-6, 3.93) in the opener Monday. Zito was yanked early in his last start, making it just 2.1 innings on Wednesday, while Corbin pitched 6.2 innings strong with three earned runs en route to a loss to the Reds on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.

Ian Kennedy (12-11, 4.27) faces Ryan Vogelsong (12-7, 3.02) in game two. Kennedy pitched 6.1 scoreless en his last appearance, while Vogelsong gave up four runs in six innings en route to a victory in his last start. First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.

Trevor Cahill (9-11, 4.02) takes on Madison Bumgarner (14-9, 3.07) in the series finale. First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680. Cahill took a no decision in his last start after 5.2 innings of three run ball while Bumgarner gave up five runs in four innings of work en route to a loss.
