FedEx Cup Standings 2012: Snedeker Tops Cup Standings

Brandt Snedeker Is the 2012 FedEx Cup standings winner after his win at the PGA Tour Championship over the weekend. Snedeker, from Nashville, Tenn., had two Tour wins, seven top-10 finishes including a second-place and third-place finish and 10 top-25 finishes overall in 22 tournaments.

Former Stanford star Tiger Woods finished in third place and had three Tour wins and nine top-10 finishes. Rory McIlroy took second with four wins and 10 top 10s.

Rounding out the top five were Nick Watney and Phil Mickelson. Watney, of Sacramento, struggled on Sunday but still did well in the final FedEx Cup standings.

Snedeker shot up four places in the final standings with his win Sunday, passing the four others below him. Here's a look at the standings and how everything shook out. Some bad finishes Sunday doomed a few contenders who had a shot at the Cup.
