Raiders Vs. Steelers: Oakland Never Quits, Rallies For First Win Of Season

The Oakland Raiders might not end up having a great season, but they will be able to look back on Sept. 23, 2012 with fondness given the way they defeated the Pittsburgh Steeler on Sunday at the Oakland Coliseum.

Here's how Silver and Black Pride's Levi Damien reacted to the victory for the Raider Nation:

The first time they led in this game was the kick (Sebastian) Janikowski made to win the game as time expired. Simply incredible after what we saw from this team through the first two weeks.

So SeaBass's kick sent the Raiders to victory and a 1-2 record. As bad as Oakland looked in the first two weeks of the season, what a difference any given Sunday can make. And what a difference a long run and productive day from running back Darren McFadden can make. The Raiders were down 31-21 in the fourth quarter.

And how about this, no Raiders penalties in the first half!

The only bad news could be the status of wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, who was carted off after a hard hit that knocked him out. He is reportedly in the hospital overnight Sunday.
