Tour Championship 2012: Brandt Snedeker Has Day To Remember With Tour Championship, FedEx Cup Wins

Brandt Snedeker has had a memorable 2012 but Sunday had to be the high point with the eight-year veteran taking home Tour Championship and FedEx Cup honors with a two-under final round.

Snedeker was the only player from the last five groups who registered a score under part. His three birdies on the back nine helped secure an overall score of 10-under along with the $10 million FedEx Cup pot.

Justin Rose (-7), Luke Donald (-6) and Ryan Moore (-6) rounded out the top four of the leaderboard. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy both had legitimate shots at the FedEx Cup but neither came close to winning this tournament.

Woods had an up-and-down Sunday with four bogeys and a double bogey for a score of two-over. McIlroy was consistently awful throughout his final round, turning in a score four-over.

Sacramento-native Nick Watney finished in 28th place after racking up six bogeys in his final round.
