Raiders' Michael Huff Says He's Available To Play CB

After losing their two starting cornerbacks in the first two weeks of the season, the Oakland Raiders may turn to safety Michael Huff to help fill the void at cornerback on Sunday.

Oakland lost Ron Bartell for the season with a broken shoulder blade in Week 1 and will be without Shawntae Spencer for the foreseeable future after he sprained his foot last week.. Huff, who played cornerback in college at the University of Texas, has been practicing at cornerback this week.

Huff started both games this season at safety, but said he's ready to play wherever needed on Sunday.

"If I'm out there at corner I'll be ready, and if I'm out there at safety I'll be ready," Huff said, according to MercuryNews.com.

This isn't the first time Huff has been in the discussion at cornerback. The previous coaching staff told Huff they were considering moving him to cornerback. He ended up remaining at safety when Dennis Allen took over as head coach.
