With the start of the Tour Championship on Thursday at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA, Tiger Woods will be looking for his third FedEx Cup. That is, of course, if he can beat out current points leader Rory McIlroy.
Woods and McIlroy were the last too tee off, beginning the day at 10:55 a.m. PT. Northern California native Nick Watney and Phil Mickelson began their rounds right before Woods and McIlroy.
Bo Van Pelt and Scott Piercy currently sit atop the leaderboard at East Lake at 2-under for the day. Lee Westwood, Ryan Moore, Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Carl Petterson and Justin Rose are the only other players currently under par at East Lake, sitting at 1-under.
