Free agent defensive end Andre Carter is visiting with the Oakland Raiders on Tuesday, the second time in a month that he's worked out for Dennis Allen's squad, reports CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.

Carter's first workout with the Raiders didn't go so well, as he wasn't quite in shape. He apparently didn't shed those concerns in workouts with other teams over the recent months.
Carter is making his return from a torn quadriceps injury.
In addition to his old team, the New England Patriots, keeping their eyes on Carter, the 33-year-old has also worked out for the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams since not being brought back to New England. Last season with the Patriots he was productive enough, finishing the year with 52 tackles and 10 sacks.
