Denarius Moore Injury Update: Oakland Wide Receiver Listed As Probable With Hamstring Injury

The Oakland Raiders have officially assigned a probable tag to wide receiver Denarius Moore (hamstring) for Sunday's matchup against the Miami Dolphins, according to Adam Schefter.

If he plays, this will be Moore's season debut after missing Week 1 and almost all of August's activities with a nagging hamstring strain. Even if he's held to limited snaps, the Raiders have to consider his presence an upgrade over Derek Hagan and undrafted rookie Rod Streater.

Moore's return could also mean the revival of the deep ball, an area in which Oakland was sorely lacking in Monday Night's 22-14 loss to the San Diego Chargers. Without Moore's vertical ability on the field, quarterback Carson Palmer zeroed in on Darren McFadden for dump-off plays, targeting the running back a whopping 18 times.

Moore had an 18.7-yard average on his 33 receptions during last year's rookie campaign. He also chipped in six total touchdowns (five receiving, one rushing) while proving to be arguably the most explosive playmaker on the team.
