Cal Vs. Ohio State Betting Lines & Odds: Cal A 17-Point Underdog On Saturday

There is little doubt that the California Golden Bears will have their hands full with the No. 12 Ohio St. Buckeyes on Saturday in Columbus, and Las Vegas is reflecting that as the Bears are 17-point underdogs, according to OddsShark.

The line originally opened at 16, but has since been bumped up a point. The over/under now sits at 52.5.

Cal opened the season with a disappointing 31-24 loss to the Nevada Wolf Pack in a game they entered as 12.5-point favorites. But the Bears bounced back with a 50-31 win over the Southern Utah Thunderbirds in Week 2. Saturday's game against the Buckeyes is the first of a brutal back-to-back road schedule that sees the Bears head to Los Angeles to take on the No. 2 USC Trojans in Week 4.

Ohio State, led by sophomore quarterback Braxton Miller, has averaged 275 rushing yards per game in their first two contests and should give the Bears run defense fits trying to contain their high-powered running game.
