Deutsche Bank Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Two Strokes Behind Seung-Yul Noh

Stanford alum Tiger Woods remains within striking distance of the top spot on the leaderboard after the first day of the Deutsche Bank Championship, hitting 7-under in the round.

Woods sits two strokes back of South Korean golfer Seung-Yul Noh, who came charging out of the tees with a 9-under on the day to lead all golfers.

Chris Kirk sits in second place at 8-under. Woods is tied with Jeff Overton and Ryan Moore for third place. PGA Champion Rory McIlroy and Bryce Molder hit 6-under to tie for sixth place.

Phil Mickelson started out alright but struggled to maintain momentum, ending the day 3-under.

Sacramento's Nick Watney, riding high off of his win last week, had an opening round to forget as he hit 1-over to sit tied for 74th place.
