The 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship is scheduled to tee off from TPC Boston on Friday morning. With the FedExCup playoffs underway and every golfer looking to make a late push in the standings, you can bet we'll be in for some great action this weekend.
As for the field, Tiger Woods, a Stanford Cardinal alum, will be one of the first players to tee off on Friday morning. Along with Brandt Snedeker and their amateur pairings, Woods will begin play at 6:50 a.m. locally.
2012 Barclays winner Nick Watney is scheduled to start at 8:50 a.m. along with Vijay Singh, who some see as a darkhorse candidate to win the event. Rory McIlroy is set to begin his first round with Ernie Els at noon. Phil Mickelson is in the final group playing on Friday, teeing off at 2 p.m. locally.
