Warriors Finish 10th In ESPN's Western Conference Standings Projections

ESPN released their Western Conference Standings projections for the 2012-2013 season and they predict the Golden State Warriors will finish 10th in the conference and third in the Pacific Division.

The Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs are projected as the top three teams in the conference, but the Warriors need to focus on catching the Utah Jazz, who sit in the eighth and final playoff spot in the projections.

The Warriors are projected to finish 38-44, with the Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves both tied at 41-41. The Warriors came into last season thinking playoffs but fell short due to injuries, defensive woes and the Monta Ellis trade rumors that finally ended at the trade deadline.

The Warriors finished 23-43 during the last lockout-shortened season.
