Giants Vs. Nationals, Final Score: Nats Drop Tim Lincecum, G-Men 6-4

Wednesday's finale between the San Francisco Giants and Washington Nationals was billed as a pitcher's duel between Stephen Strasburg and Tim Lincecum, though the news of Melky Cabrera's extension brought a dark cloud over a sunny afternoon at AT&T Park. And when the dust cleared it was the Nats who would claim victory, taking out the Giants by the Score of 6-4.

Lincecum lasted only four innings after giving up four early runs, two coming in the form of a two-run jack by Danny Espinosa. Timmy would depart with eight hits and five strikeouts along with just one walk.

As for Strasburg, he tossed six innings of two-run ball before departing, holding the Giants to four hits while fanning seven.

A pair of singles from Brandon Crawford and Gregor Blanco put the Giants on the board, and an error plated another in the bottom of the ninth, but the Nats proved too much, with Tyler Clippard notching his 25th save of the year.
