The Giants have been one of the hottest-hitting teams in the NL, and that only looks to continue as the team activated Pablo Sandoval from the disabled list Monday.
Panda activated but not in lineup RT
— Scott Reiss (@ScottReissCSN) August 13, 2012@csnbaggs: Pablo Sandoval will be activated today. Giants waiting on pending corresponding move.
He won't play Monday, but Bruce Bochy said he will be available to pinch hit. Sandoval will slide right back into the five-hole behind Buster Posey (who has been on a ridiculous tear as of late).
Sandoval went on the 15-Day DL with hamstring problems, and played his last game on July 24. On the season, he has posted a strong .299/.352/.491 line with eight home runs and 33 RBIs.
