After fending off the Colorado Rockies to claim yet another series victory, the San Francisco Giant will have their hands full come Monday night when the Washington Nationals come to town looking to keep their mojo going.
Ryan Vogelsong (10-5, 2.27), will take the bump for the Black and Orange, looking to continue his incredible 2012 campaign. Vogey has given up more than three runs only once over his last 18 starts, allowing just three hits over seven innings of work in the Giants' 15-0 beat down of the Cardinals last week.
Former Oakland Athletic Gio Gonzalez (14-6, 3.32 ERA) is having a stellar year since being traded to D.C., and will be looking for some more success while back in the Bay. He tosseed a complete-game on Wednesday in Houston, allowing three runs while fanning seven. He is 1-2 in four career starts against San Francisco with a 3.42 ERA.
First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
