2012 PGA Championship, Leaderboard Update: Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy Look To Make Up Ground

With a number of top players still waiting to get their day started, the conditions are getting worse at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island as the wind picks up for the afternoon group.

Two-time PGA champ Vijay Singh and 2005 champ Phil Mickelson had nice rounds at the Ocean Course on Friday, with Vijay firing a 3-under 69 to move two back of the leader at 4-under for the week. Mickelson finished with an 1-under round of 71 to stay even par for the tournament.

Gary Woodland birdied the par-5 2nd to tie Carl Petterson for the lead at 6-under par, while Pat Perez is off to a nice start a well, currently 2-under for his first four holes, moving to 5-under for the week.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are both just getting their days started, both with pars on the par-4 first hole.
