London 2012 Olympics: Ariel Hsing Advances To Third Round In Table Tennis

American teen Ariel Hsing upset Luxembourg's Ni Xia Lian on Sunday to advance to the third round in Women's Singles Table Tennis.

The 16-year-old took down the former world champion in six sets, winning the match 4-2. Hsing will face China's Li Xiaxia, the tournament's No. 2 seed at 1:00 p.m. PT on Sunday.

Hsing will need to pull off another upset against Xiaxia, the Chinese are traditionally the top athletes in Table Tennis. As China's national sport, the team has claimed 15 of the last 16 golds in the sports on both the men's and women's sides.

Hsing won her first round match on Saturday. against Mexico's Silva Yadira, shutting her out in four straight sets.
