Team USA was yet to play a real physical team this year as they prepare for next month's Olympics in London, but that changed on Sunday. Matched up with Argentina, a team led by Manu Ginobili and Luis Scola, things got a bit chippy in the second and third quarters, but that did not stop the US from winning by a score of 86-80.

Kevin Durant led all scorers with 27 points. Even with a new ball and slightly altered 3-point line, Durant continues to score at a very high level and is proving he's the best pure scorer in the world. Kobe Bryant recorded 18 points and four rebounds, while LeBron James went for 15, seven and five assists. Russell Westbrook added 13 points in limited playing time.

Ginobili led Argentina with 23 points. He was primarily matched up against Bryant for most of the game. Scola added 14 points and seven rebounds.

It was another solid effort for Team USA, and it was a big step forward in the right direction. The team will play two more exhibition games in Europe before heading to London for the 2012 Olympics.
