2012 Tour de France, Stage 16: Route, TV Schedule, Start Time And More

The 2012 Tour de France is down to its final stages, and it's unclear if anyone will be able to catch leader Bradley Wiggins. He has held the Yellow Jersey for about two weeks now, and he currently holds a lead of two minutes and five seconds over Christopher Froome, who sits in second place. Assuming he isn't involved in a collision, he appears to be on his way to a Tour championship.

As for Stage 16, it will commence on Wednesday morning following a rest day on Tuesday. It will take the cyclists 197 kilometers from Pau to Bagnéres-de-Luchon, which is a wild ride through the high mountains. Expect plenty of steep inclines and declines on Wednesday.

The Tour is being televised live by NBC Sports Network each morning. Wednesday's action will begin at 3:30 a.m. PST.
