Maria Sharapova is arguably the best women's tennis player in the world. If her previous championships were not enough to cement her legacy as one of the better players of all time, she has breezed through the 2012 French Open so far and is one match away from the championship.
Standing in her way is Sara Errani, who entered the tournament ranked No. 21 in the world. Errani has been playing great tennis in recent weeks and has a legitimate chance at the title on Saturday. She may not be favored, but she can most definitely pull the upset if a few breaks go her way.
NBC will televise the match on Saturday morning. Everything is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. PST. That's 9 a.m. for you folks living on the other coast.
The men's championship between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will be played Sunday morning.
